The peak of the Hill of Spilovouno (Homer's Nion). Until the earthquake of 1953 a village bearing the same name was located here, but has since been completely deserted. A semicircular structure is located here, constructed from stone blocks buried into the ground. Along the slope to the left a roof of one of the demolished houses is visible, as well as the Straits of Ithaca and the northern part of the present-day island of Ithaca (Homer's Same).
